Expressive Arts Therapist
Express Create Transform
I offer a unique approach for successful results.
Using expressive arts and active imagination you get to understand yourself and the problems your are facing and to process in a creative and gentle way.
In this holistic practice where body, mind and spirit are engaged, I offer you a place where there is no judgement, where you can explore what is calling your attention. I will guide your exploration and make sure you are safely journeying.
I have over a thousand of hours of practice and have strengthened my Expressive Arts skills over the years with a specialized training in trauma therapy.
My skill is to walk with you on your life path towards more well being and see you thrive. You will also take with you tools and skills readily applicable to help you in between sessions and after our work together.
Why Expressive Arts Therapy
Because you want to know yourself better, to have a more fulfilling life.
Because you are looking for a holistic approach and a new perspective that will allow you to bloom into a happier person.
Because you need that space and time to unload and let yourself express completely.
Expressive arts therapy is the practice of using imagery, storytelling, dance, music, drama, poetry, movement, dreamwork, and visual arts together, in an integrated way, to foster human growth, development, and healing. It is about reclaiming our innate capacity as human beings for creative expression of our individual and collective human experience in artistic form. Expressive arts therapy is also about experiencing the natural capacity of creative expression and creative community for healing.
(Appalachian Expressive Arts Collective, 2003, Expressive Arts Therapy: Creative Process in Art and Life. Boone, NC: Parkway Publishers. p. 3)
Even if you see yourself as a "non artistic" or "non creative" person, expressive arts therapy can be for you. In a session the emphasis is never on the end result but rather on the process.
I have yet to meet a person with no creativity. Wether you like creating through cooking, gardening, photography, dreaming, music playing, scrapbooking, journaling, knitting, singing, etc.... you probably have one if not many ways you express yourself naturally.
I am a certified Expressive Arts Therapist graduated from Langara College in Vancouver.
In 2017, I also graduated from the Justice Institute of British Columbia and became a Trauma Therapist and Focusing practitionner with an Aboriginal and Multicultural awareness. In 2019, I graduated from the University of Leuven in Belgium, as an existential psychotherapist.
I have over a thousand of hours of practice with children, seniors and adults from all walks of life.
I am always looking to provide you with the most authentic and complete service, with your wellbeing at heart.
My studio is in North Vancouver in a convenient location, close to transit and free parking. I am booking every day of the week with a possibility on Saturdays.

One on One Sessions
I offer 60 minutes one on one sessions. The first 30 minutes meeting session is free. After that initial session, I charge $90 per session.
Group sessions are very enriching and fun. I believe sharing is a part of the healing process. Expressive Arts have been successfully used by groups and institutions to help with stress relief, trauma work, self care, etc...
Thanks to expressive arts we can come closer as a community by enriching our relationships to each other and our environment. I often collaborate as a therapist and as an artist to various projects.
